MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the EPIC Lab is clear and ambitious: to reverse climate change through urban planning. We recognize that the battle against climate change will be won or lost in the cities of the world. Urban areas are simultaneously the principal contributors to and the primary victims of climate change. By focusing our efforts on transforming these urban landscapes, we aim to turn cities from culprits of significant carbon emissions into pioneers of environmental regeneration.

Our strategies are built on the premise that urban environments can be completely reimagined to support ecological restoration while enhancing urban livability. We are developing and implementing transformative urban planning strategies that drastically improve the ecological health of urban areas globally. Our work emphasizes creating sustainable urban systems that not only support the natural world but also foster a high quality of life for their inhabitants.
